☞ Average people are quite right not to want their picture taken. I certaily wouldn't want someone poking a camera in my face. I try to be quick so the subjects won't notice. It's not that I feel any quilt, any sense of using people against their will, but I'd suffer a bit if I thought I was making anyone unhappy. (I might suffer more if I got beaten up.) Otherwise, everybody's fair game, so long as you don't hurt them.

사진을 찍게된다면 한 번씩 고민하게 될 법한 점들에대해 한 사진 작가의 생각을 엿보게 된다.

흑백 사진이냐, 컬러 사진이냐의 고민, 거리에서 타인을 찍는 행위에 관한 고민

윤리나 도덕마저도 시대에따라 변하는 주관적인 면을 갖고있다. 하물며 법은 언제나 변할 수 있는 것이다.

타인을 찍는 행위에관한 '초상권'을 생각하는 사람들이 많은 것 같다.

물론, 이 작가가 활동하던 당시의 사회는 이러한 문제들에대한 법 정비가 미흡해서 지나쳤을 가능성도

배재할 수 는 없을 것이다.

엄밀히 말하면 세기의 사진 작가 Cartier-Bresson의 대부분의 사진들 또한 요즘 시각에서 보면 분명한
 
'도촬'인 것이다.
